Our Casting Processes
Four aluminum casting methods — one supplier. We select the right process based on your part geometry, alloy requirements, volume, and budget.
Core Process
Gravity Casting
A356 · ZL114
Weight
1–20 kg
Max Size
Up to 1.2 m
Best for: Structural parts, safety-critical components, large complex shapes
- Best mechanical properties
- T6 heat treatable
- Large part capability
- Lower tooling cost
Low-Pressure Casting
A356 · ZL114
Weight
2–30 kg
Max Size
Up to 800 mm
Best for: Wheels, powertrain housings, pressure-tight components
- Near-zero porosity
- Excellent pressure-tight sealing
- Good for rotationally symmetric parts
Die Casting
ADC12 · A380
Weight
0.1–5 kg
Max Size
Up to 400 mm
Best for: High-volume thin-wall parts, complex geometry, consumer electronics
- Fastest cycle times
- Thin walls (≥1.5 mm)
- High repeatability
Sand Casting
A356 · ZL114 · Custom
Weight
0.5–200 kg
Max Size
Virtually unlimited
Best for: Prototypes, low-volume, extremely large or complex parts
- Flexible tooling
- No size limit
- Lowest tooling investment
